FactoryPr ofileAndUserProf iles

Thewirelessmodulestoresthevaluessetbyseveralcommandsintheinternal,non‐volatilememory(non‐volatile

memory),allowingtorememberthissettingevenafterpoweroff.Inthenon‐volatilememorythesevaluesareset

eitherasfactoryprofileorasuserprofiles.

Therearetwocustomizableuserprofilesandonefa

ctoryprofileinthenon‐volatilememoryofthedevice:By

defaultthedevicestartswithuserprofile0equaltofactoryprofile.

Forbackwardcompatibilityeachprofileisdividedintotwosections:

 basesectionwhichwashistoricallytheonethatwassavedandrestoredinearlyreleasesofcode,and

 extendedsectionwhichincludesalltheremainingvalues.

The&Wcommandis usedtosavetheactualvaluesofbothsectionsofprofilesintothenon‐volatilememoryuser

profile.

Commands&Yand&Parebothusedtosettheprofiletobeloadedatstartup.&Yinstructsthedevicetoloadonly

thebasesectionatstartup.&Pinstructsthedevicetoload,atstartup,thefullpr

ofile:base+extendedsections.

Forcommandsinthebasesection,the&Fcommandresetsvaluestofactoryprofiledefaults.

&F1resetstofactoryprofilevaluesthefullsetofbase+extendedsectioncom

mands.

Thevaluessetbyothercommandsarestoredinnon ‐volatile memoryoutsidetheprofile.Somevaluesarealways

stored,withoutissuing&W.Othervaluesarestoredbyissuingspecificcommands(+CSAS,#SLEDSAV,#SKTSAV,

#ESAV).Allofthesevaluesarereadatpower‐up.
